In 1994, The Lighthouse Boys went back into Fat Tracks Studio (Formerly Buck Owens Recording Studio) to record an album of all Southern Gospel classic songs.  The original title of the album was going to be called “Standards”.  As production of the album was almost wrapped up Mark Underwood changed the name to “Golden Classics”.  The album features the 1995 radio single “Midnight Cry”.  Golden Classics has sold more than any other Lighthouse Boys album to date.  The original first print of the album cover featured a gold foil stamp border and wording on the cover.
