“America Bless God”, the first single from the quartet since 2023’s “He’ll Carry You” and first new music since their 2024 EP “The Sessions” is set to be released in September.

Written by founding member Mark Underwood and produced by Paul Secord, America Bless God delivers the unmistakable sound of The Lighthouse Boys backed by an incredible roster of musicians such as Steve Brewster (Drums), Gary Prim (Keyboards), Duncan Mullins (Bass Guitar), Kelly Back (Lead Guitar), Joel Key (Acoustic Guitar), Written by Mark Underwood, the song was recorded in Nashville and Bakersfield.

“The song idea was birthed 24 years ago during a conversation between my brother Bill and a former drummer,” Mark Underwood says. “Bill ended the conversation with God Bless America and our drummer said how about America Bless God, that’s when the wheels started turning for this song.”

The new single brings The Lighthouse Boys back to their more progressive sounding roots with a modern edge, driven by powerful quartet vocals. September 18 the single will be available world wide.

BAKERSFIELD, CA — Following recent hints of studio sessions with Gil Ramirez (formerly of Evidence Quartet) and Joseph Underwood alongside Mark and Stephen, The Lighthouse Boys confirmed via social media and their official website on August 8 that a brand-new single is coming soon.

Working with producer Paul Secord, The Lighthouse Boys recorded the upcoming track in both Nashville and Bakersfield.

BAKERSFIELD, Ca – The Bakersfield Country Music Awards 20th Anniversary will be taking place on November 15, 2026, at the Historic Bakersfield Fox Theater. The digital release featuring all ten original songs, nine of which were written by Mark Underwood and Steve Johnson. The album also features the first recorded versions of The Happiest Feeling and Just Call On Jesus.

Recorded at the historic Buck Owens Recording Studios on North Chester in Bakersfield, CA. Five of the songs were recorded with The Buckaroos. The entire album was produced by Jim Shaw and Mark Underwood. Digitally transferred at Modern Man Productions in Southern California by Alex Drizos (The Archers, Phil Keaggy, Donna Summers, Eddie Money, America, Disney).

The Lighthouse Boys have officially released a live recording from May 26,1980. The event was The Western Deserts Gospel Sing, held at The San Bernardino County Fair Grounds in Victorville, CA.

The Album is already on iTunes/Apple Music and many other streaming and download services World-Wide.

The album includes the live version of “The Dark Haired Man” that first appeared on their debut album that same year. The recording also features fan favorites “I’m Gonna Walk Them Golden Stairs”, “I Feel Good”, “Just A Little Talk with Jesus” and “Jesus, The Way Maker” among others.
