On Sunday, April 22nd, The Lighthouse Boys will be performing at the Faith Temple located at 1227 Park Drive in Bakersfield, California. The performance will begin at 6pm.

The Lighthouse Boys are Bakersfield’s longest performing Christian artists, for more than 37 years they have been entertaining people with their gospel music. Bakersfield is home to performers like Tommy Collins and Buck Owens. Currently, The Lighthouse Boys have a new record in production and are appearing in various locations throughout the 2012 year. While some define successful musical artists by how many platinum records they sell around the world, while others, like The Lighthouse Boys, recognize it as being in the grace of “God”, ready willing and able to do “Gods” will. This group was started by Make Underwood and Steve Johnson back in 1974 and for more than 35 years they have been entertaining fans, church congregations, and concert goers that return time and time again just to hear their wonderful sound. This group has appeared in many magazines, newspapers, and church bulletins. They have a sound that is to be remembered for a lifetime. As winners of the “Californian’s Choice Award for Best Band”, they are known far and wide, for their classic Southern Gospel style.
