EXETER, CA | TIRE BLOW OUT, MISSNG PRODUCT AND SINGING, ALL IN A DAYS WORK.

July 21, 2002

(Exeter, CA) The Lighthouse Boys were on their way to sing at Abundant Life Pentecostal Church of God.  Just as the group was approaching Tulare the Bus had a tire blow out.  No one was hurt; Bill Underwood was able to drive the bus to the nearest off-ramp.

The Pastor of Abundant Life drove down to help the guys.  During that time it came to their attention that all the product (CD’s, Cassettes – etc) had been left back at Home.  After making plans for someone to bring up the product and after getting the bus back on the road, everyone made it there a little after 6:00pm.  The service started late, however the guys went on to sing and the Lord moved.

“Life happens” said someone in the congregation.  One thing is for sure, there are plenty enough “Bus stories” in southern gospel music.
