MIDNIGHT CRY: ESSENTIAL COLLECTION

Midnight Cry: The Lighthouse Boys Essential Collection was released on CD at the Great Western Fan Festival today. The twenty track CD Collection celebrates The Lighthouse Boys years from 1994-2000. It is unique in that the entire order of songs was put together using a couple of setlists from concerts in the late 1990s, so the listener is getting the order of songs in a typical Lighthouse Boys concert from that area.

A digital version will be available June 4, 2010.

THE LIGHTHOUSE BOYS ANNOUNCE THE RETURN OF THE 5TH SATURDAY SING

The Lighthouse Boys announce they are bringing back their “Fifth Saturday Sing.”  The Lighthouse Boys began the concerts in the early 1990s.  Every time there is a Fifth Saturday in a month, The Lighthouse Boys will host a concert.  The Lighthouse Boys will perform during every concert.  Additional Artists for the first event will be announced soon.

BT DIGITAL MUSIC AWARDS

Last night, the winners were announced for the 2007 BT Digital Music Awards. TheLighthouseBoys.com was nominated among several other artists website for the “People’s Choice Award for Best Official Music Site.” The Lighthouse Boys ranked pretty high on a long list of world wide artists sites, however the Award went to the official website for the English Rock Band KEANE. The “People’s Choice” categories are voted on by fans around the World via the Internet.

THE LIGHTHOUSE BOYS AT THE GREAT WESTERN FAN FEST

(Fresno, CA) The Lighthouse Boys appeared on stage at the 2007 Great Western Southern Gospel Fan Festival “Best of the West” showcase at the Save Mart Center in Fresno, CA.  They performed a new song “From Heaven’s Point of View” to a well receptive audience.

THE LIGHTHOUSE BOYS RETURN TO GREAT WESTERN FAN FEST

(Fresno, CA) The Lighthouse Boys performed at the “Best of the West” showcase Friday afternoon to much of the delight of Southern Gospel Fans in attendance.  This was the first performance for The Lighthouse Boys since early December of 2005.  The reunited “Classic” line up of Mark Underwood, Steve Johnson, Bill Underwood and Stephen Underwood brought the house to their feet with “His Love Won’t Let Me Go” and continued on until their final song “We Sho’ Do Need Him Now.”

RETURN OF THE CLASSICS

Original and Classic are two words to describe The Lighthouse Boys. In 2006, a classic version of The Lighthouse Boys, (Mark Underwood, Steve Johnson, Bill Underwood and Stephen Underwood) will embark on just a few appearances throughout the year, including their first appearance at The Great Western Fan Festival since 2001.

STEPHEN & JOE UNDERWOOD LEAVE THE ROAD

(Bakersfield, CA) Stephen & Joe Underwood officially leave the road.  After six years for Joe Underwood and 18 years for Stephen Underwood, The two guys are embarking on new ministries in their new home church in Madera, CA. The Lighthouse Boys will be holding auditons.

THE LIGHTHOUSE BOYS COMING TO NEVADA

The Lighthouse Boys will be taking “The Best of The Lighthouse Boys 2005” to Nevada on June 19 at Moapa Christian Church, Moapa, NV 10:45am and at Indian Springs Baptist Church, Indian Springs, NV 6:00pm.  “We are excited to be putting Nevada on this year’s schedule” said Stephen Underwood.

The Lighthouse Boys have embarked on a pretty busy tour schedule on the west coast this year and are being booked through Capital Artists.
